Joanie always had a passion for creative wellbeing and was fascinated with how it can bring positive change to our lives. With 25 years experience as a Community Arts Facilitator under her belt she decided to set up The Grove Sanctuary to merge her passions of art, sound and nature together, offering unique and immersive healing experience.

About Joanie

  • Joanie is a qualified Community Arts Facilitator and has delivered workshops to various community groups of different ages and abilities for the past 20 years.  

  • Joanie is a qualified sound therapist. She has gained a diploma in one to one and group sound healing sessions in 2016 under the guidance of her tutor Tony Nec at the Sound Healing Academy

  • Joanie’s love of nature and the natural world has brought her to study Shamanism where she gained certificates in Shamanic Counselling, Shamanic practitioner, Sacred Plant Medicine and has qualified as a Bio Energy Therapist. 

  • Joanie is a qualified Reiki practitioner and Reiki Master under the lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui trained with Patricia Loughlin This training enables Joanie to facilitate the flow of universal energy to clients following a sequence of hand positions over the body.  After a treatment clients have found they can cope better with stress and note an improvement in their self confidence.

  • Joanie is a qualified Bio-Energy Therapist. She trained with Bio-Energy Training Ireland and gained a diploma in 2015.
